A: If your gaming group has multiple copies of ScoreGeek you can enter your login information on their device to enable them to post for you. Alternatively, you can post manually after syncing in the cloud or importing plays from another player's BGG account.

Q: Is my password secure?

A: Yes. First it is sent encrypted over HTTPS to our secure server, which posts it to BoardGameGeek.com just like if you were signing in on their website. BGG authenticates your login and sends our server back a temporary login token. From that point the app uses the token instead of your password for all subsequent non-secure interactions over standard HTTP with BGG. Your BGG password is never transmitted or stored on cloud servers, or embedded in CSV exports.

Q: Is my password saved in the cloud or exported to CSV?

A: No, your password is only saved on this device and is not synced to the cloud or exported to CSV. If your gaming group is using multiple copies of ScoreGeek you will need to enter your password on each device which you want to post your plays from.

Q: Can I share my login?

A: Yes, it is designed to be shared between multiple users to sync all your data between many devices.

Q: How many accounts can I create?

A: As many as you like, but data will only be posted to the account you are currently logged into. Any time you log into an account it is synced with this device.

Q: Do I have to pay for storage?

A: No, it's 100% free.

Q: Do you require personal information?

A: No, but you might want to provide your email address for password retrieval, we won't spam or divulge it.

Q: Whose data will be pushed to my device?

Q: Can I remove players someone else added?

A: Deleting them will remove them from all devices. You can prevent a player from being displayed on a specific device from the Edit Players section.
