Custom Programming FAQ
Can you give me some examples of programs you have created?
Please browse the Private Label Software Collection and Consumer Software Collection on our website, all of which was created entirely by Rebrand Software, LLC.
I would like to add some features to one of your existing Private Label programs. Is this possible?
Yes. We are happy to add features to existing programs.
How much do you charge for custom programming?
Our current rate is $150 per hour with a minimum purchase of $600 for modifications to existing programs and $2400 for new programs.
Please contact us for an estimate. The more specific you can be about your software, the better. If you have a specific budget in mind we can work with you to meet your goal.
For large projects we will need to schedule a phone call to discuss your ideas. We require payment in full, or verification of identity, before we begin work. In the latter case we require a 50% payment before work begins, and 50% within 10 days of satisfactory completion.
In addition to our normal payment methods we also accept payment by check or money order for large projects.
Is the custom work you do for me exclusive to my company, or will you sell it to other customers?
Any custom programming we do is completely exclusive to you/your company. We will never sell it to any other customers, or use it ourselves.
If you do custom programming for me, do I get to keep the source code?
Yes. If we create a program for you from scratch you will get the Visual Basic source code in it's entirety. If we make modifications to an existing Private Label program we will deliver the source code for only the features we have added.
What programming lanaguages do you use?
Our preferred language/database combination is REALBasic working with a MySQL backend because it creates code that runs natively on Windows, Mac and Linux. We are also experienced with VB6, ASP, PHP, Javascript, XML, CSS, XHTML, and MS Access.
Do I need to know anything about programming?
No, we handle everything. All you will need to do is explain what you want the program to do, and when we're finished with it you can download the installers.
What will my program look like?
The GUI will most likely follow the look of our Private Label software, with custom graphics by our art department. However, we can be flexible depending on your budget.
Is it possible to suggest a program for you to create as a Private Label program at some time in the future?
Yes, if you don't mind waiting a bit, and don't mind the program not being exclusive to your company, then feel free to suggest programs any time. If we decide to create it, and you were the first one to suggest it, we will give you a discount on the finished product.
